Friends of the Doctor

Brigadier Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart - He first appeared in the episode "The Web of Fear" with Patrick Troughton in Season 5. He helped found and was in control of UNIT (United Nations Intelligence Taskforce and later known as Unified Intelligence Taskforce). He last appeared in the episode of "Battlefield" with Sylvestor McCoy in 1989 in Season 26. The Doctor was often exasperated with The Brigadier for his brute force in weaponry but sometimes it was the only way and the Doctor would allow him to use whatever force was necessary.

Jackie Tyler - Even though Jackie Tyler was Rose's Mother, she was involved in the Doctor and appeared in many episodes and though she didn't offer much help, she helped to create a family for the Doctor.

Captain Jack Harkness (or something else) - There is much I could say about Captain Jack Harkness but I'll keep it simple. The Doctor likes and hates him for he is an anomaly to time and the universe. Jack has his own ideals and his own honor system but he does try to do the right thing. He first appeared in "The Empty Child" with Christopher Eccleston in Season 1 (or Season 28 - 2005 Season). He now works for Torchwood and assists the Doctor when he needs help.

Mickey Smith - Mickey Smith is Rose's boyfriend and helps the Doctor and Rose with a few timely computer hacks and eventually fighting against the Cybermen in the parallel world and then Earth itself with the Cybermen and the Daleks.
