Who and What is the Doctor? (for all those out there wondering)

The Doctor is a time lord from the planet Gallifrey. He travels through time and space in his T.A.R.D.I.S. which stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. The Tardis looks like a Police Box on the outside but inside it's so huge that the Doctor and his companions sometimes get lost in the many rooms and hallways. The Doctor often has companions traveling with him through the different galaxies and time lines, trying to protect the universe from evil.

He can regenerate meaning he changes his body for a new one after a certain time. He is allowed 13 regenerations and he has only used 10 so far. Every time he regenerates he looks completely different but has the same amount of knowledge. The Master, one of the Doctor's enemies, has used all of his regenerations and is also a time lord but an evil one. He is always trying to stop the Doctor any way he can, trying to find a way to steal the Doctor's regenerations and to cause trouble throughout the universe.

The Doctor has many enemies such as the Daleks and the Cybermen. The Daleks are always trying to invade some planet yelling "Exterminate Exterminate" or "Stop or you will be exterminated." The Cybermen are also trying to invade but they look like gold or silver robotic men.

The Doctor is always trying to keep good and evil balanced and to make sure the events of what we call history stay the same.
